I've never seen anything funnier in my life. My brother Mitch had to go to Hotcake Bakes after losing a bet, dressed as a full-grown pink ballerina. I'm talking a tight white leotard, a fluffy pink tutu, white tights, and to top it off, frilly ruffled bottoms. You can imagine the kind of looks he got walking into a bakery dressed like that. The staff at Hotcake Bakes couldn't hold back their laughter when they saw him. One of them joked about how the pink cupcake matched his tutu perfectly. But then, it got so much worse. They made him perform "I'm a Little Teapot" right there in front of everyone! Imagine a grown man doing that awkward tip-over move, frilly panties showing, while people are standing in line, snickering and taking pictures. It didn't stop there, either. Mitch had to awkwardly wait for other customers to order their cupcakes while standing at the counter, looking like an overgrown toddler in a dance recital. Every person in that bakery stared, laughed, and whispered as he stood there, beet-red with embarrassment, trying to pretend he wasn't dying inside. Mitch couldn't hide his awkwardness, and honestly, he looked like he was just trying to survive the whole thing. By the time he left, I'm sure his pride was left in shambles. That said, five stars to Hotcake Bakes for the excellent cupcakes, but even more so for giving me the best story I'll ever have on my brother. I've got photos, and trust me--he won't live this down anytime soon. P.S. If you ever need to feel better about yourself, just think of Mitch standing there in his tutu, waiting for strangers to finish ordering while trying to act like he wasn't the laughingstock of the bakery.

This was a great stop! Came here after a stop at SOBAR and was greeted by lovely staff who explained all of their options. I got the almond cake roll with fresh berries which was really quite good though a little bit on the drier side. I am excited to stop by and try some more!

TOO GOOD TO GO order. It was my first time having this place. $6.99 for 4 pastries, they were ok. Very friendly staff.

Good local place for some sweets and treats. They also have a coffee menu. Sometimes their outside patio is open which is really what I love but it's not used much anymore outside of private events it sounds like. Cupcakes are apparently pretty good, but I prefer the bakery items and cookies, etc. They also have dog-friendly treats and their coffee is not bad
